Crafted from lightweight aluminum and imported Baltic Birch, Nebula is as much about texture and tone as it is about motion. The wood is left unpainted to showcase its rich natural grain, then hand-sanded, stained, and finished with a tough urethane coating to protect it from humidity and sunlight. The supporting frame features polymer-coated metal and laminated birch, all sealed under layers of polyacrylic for lasting beauty, even in changing environments.

What makes Nebula especially calming is its non-symmetrical pattern wheel design. Unlike traditional symmetrical setups, this configuration creates a richer variety of shifting visual patterns—more dynamic, more organic, and more meditative. As the wheels slowly turn, their interactions create a gentle, ever-changing rhythm that can feel a bit like watching waves, clouds, or falling leaves.

Powering all this is a stainless steel constant-force spring, tucked into a cleverly visible, clock-like side mechanism. To get things going, just wind the lower pulley—about 20 turns until a red band appears—then give the rear wheel a gentle clockwise nudge and the front one counter-clockwise. That’s it. You’ll get up to 2½ hours of quiet, calming motion, all without electricity or batteries.

And don't worry—every detail has been built to last. The belt that links the pulley to the wheels is made from stainless steel spring material, which means no cracking, no stretching, and no corrosion over time.
